Hole Twelve: 235 metres – Gums Green
A blind but short par four doglegging to the left, with heavy rough and rushes to the right and hazards left and just short of the green. Easily driveable by a long hitter with a controlled hook but the water hazard across the front of the green is very much in play. Play to the fairway marker (145 metres from the tee) or to the right of it to open up the green. The normal hole location at the back of the green will not hold a fully pitched shot and requires a pitch and run. Good rounds have been destroyed by this hole, most recently in respect of one star who was four under par at the time.
